Thanks for the advice on the avi to vcd conversion guys it worked, but now i have downloaded another avi file, and when i play the movie, the first few frames play and then just stop, and the audio carries on! any suggestions? thanks.
The AVI "might" be corrupt or video& audio is out of sync. Be sure that DivX 5, DivX4& DivX 3 versions are installed on your pc as you can download earlier version at Doom9(www.doom9.net). You "might" need Xvid codec installed as well. Thanks i have got the file to play using my Divx player! still won't play in real player and quicktime for some reason. But When i try to encode the file in TMPGEnc, it goes a few frames into it and then stops on that frame and carrys on encoding because you can see the numbers going up, just the same as what happens when i try to watch it in a player other than divx. Any suggestions?? Thanks Matt
