I dl'd a couple .avi movies and i have every possible codec installed - i even got gspot to help detect and it says the movies should play fine... what can i do to make them play... each movie is right around 1 hour and 2 minutes... i dl'd them off kazaa if that helps thank you in advance
Sorry I can't help but wanted you to know I'm having the exact same problem. Did every thing you've done. All the bad stuff I've dl'd is always the same duration 1 hr 2 min xx sec. No matter what the file size is. AVI preview also always show the same duration 62 min xx sec. The extensions are supposedly all either .avi, .asf or mpeg. Wonder what's going on.
They would probably be fake files if from Kazaa Try installing the Xvid codec first if you haven't already. If that doesn't help I'd suggest d/l the same named file but at a different filesize.
