    Hello

I was just wondering which is the best to archive my unedited miniDV video on to a external HDD as a backup.
Which is most compatible with current software and which is best to drag in to below software

    I currently own :
    Adobe prem 7,
    Ulead Mediastudio pro,
    Studio 9

    Many Thanks

Well if you are going to eventually edit these Files and are going to eventually put them on DVD then you should keep them in the Format that they are in (DV AVI)...Both Adobe Premier and Media Studio Pro will happilly accept DV AVI files for editing..DV is the Best format if you are doing any editing or effects and converting it to any other Format before editing will only serve to degrade the quality.....Cheers
