AVI not importing

    I'm trying to import a .avi file into Nero Vision Express 3, the file is about 45 mins long. It's taking forever to import, which it never imports just kinda freezes but I can still abort the process. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?
    Should I recode the .avi first? I have the latest version of Nero Vision Express 3.

    Yes. Use Nero only to burn.
