the max you can put on a dvd is 4 hours for a standard dvd-r have you tried using convetxtodvd from vso there is a paid version and a free one I use the paid one
I have the Pay One but the last time I used it I lost a LOT of Quality from my DVD Quality vidz on my Computer.
you can set the quality to high takes longer to transcode but its lots better than the default setting. I like it because its fast and if you were truly worried about quality you would buy the retail disc
hello, im trying to convert a movie which is in AVI format into dvd using winAVI, but it keeps saying the file maybe broken or you may not have the right codecs, any help pleasE?
here is a link to get codecs http://cucusoft.com/codec.asp sorry can't offer more help I don't use winavi I use convertxtodvd
Have you ever tried to play the avi file on your pc? If it can't be played, maybe broken oryou need a codec ,like this: Divx or Xvid. But I like k-lite codec, because it can support more formats.
Shezzy, you really shouldn't hijack other people's thread. If you want to ask a queston start a new thread.
I use WinAVI and ConvertXtoDVD... WinAviConverter keeps freezing when I try to convert some rmvb videos... WHY??
@ masterRE.. why did you post on an old thread like this.. everything until you was on topic and helpful. There are a fair few dvd authoring tools, the paid professional ones seem to be better than the domestic. http://www.mediachance.com/dvdlab/ (which we use commercially) http://www.videohelp.com/tools?s=2 Try some and see which you like.. It's all down to ease of use vs final quality.
