AVI to DVD jerky picture in standalone

Ok im new and im sure this question has been asked a hundred times before. I have a movie that is in an avi format. using cucusoft i converted the movie from avi to dvd, then cucsoft burned the file to dvd. When played in my computer the disc works great, but when i put it in my standalone dvd player, it freezes every second or so for an instant. I have a cyberhome dvd-300 player. Anyone know how to fix this problem.

 

what media are you using to burn your project on to?

 

Maxell DVD+R. I have copied a ot of other dvds on them and they look just fine

 

and cucusoft is always the encoder

 

try nero it works perfect for my movies that are Avi format.
