    Hi

    I want to know if this is possible with some software, one single program, that does it all, plain and simple.
    Take a movie in avi format (divx, xvid), convert it into files that I can burn on DVD-R, add subtitles and watch it in my DVD-player? Just this simple thing. I've seen programs that do the converting, but I can't throw the subtitles in there.

    Thanks in advance

    - SubMAX to convert any format -> SRT (if it wasn't in that format).
    - SubTool do synchronize it (if the subtitle wasn't synchronized to the video).
    - SubtitleCreator (SRT -> SUP)
    - IFOEdit or Rejig to author the stuff together (M2V+audio+SUP)->DVD
