hi. ive got a movie that at the moment is avi format. i know how how burn it as dvd but is there any way to remove the foriegn subtitles from the file
I would convert the AVI to DVD format; save to hard drive, don't burn it . then use a program like Nero Recode, CloneDVD, or other burning software that has the ability to take out the subtitles when adding files to the program. It will have a check box to either include or exclude subtitles.... if the conversion of the AVI allows it to be broken down to it's elements in converting it to DVD compliant files.... other wise I think you'll have to go further to demux the dvd compliant files and then redue everything to get to the subtitles. good luck.
