avi to dvd

I used nero vision express to convert 5 avi files to dvd because nero offers such an easy menu creation precess compared to other programs. I was not happy with the dvd when i burnt it because the picture always stopped every few seconds but the sound runs normal. I figured out when converting mpg's it's all normal. Does anyone have any suggestions for a better video converter?

 

convert normal .mpg file to DVD to have a test. maybe try other as xilisoft video converter.

I had the same problem with Nero.

I use:
