avi to dvd

hallo friends.i want to burn my avi vedio file which i download from my dvcam directly without converting.i am not able to do this with nero.please explain.thanks.

 

So are you burning data or video dvd?
What kind of avi file it is?

Why you do not want to convert it to dvd-format first?

 

you take a look at imtoo avi / dvd converter,win to dvd converter ect.

Then just burn it using data mode....

 

thanks for the advice.i think that will work.is it possible to see it in dvd player.if not what is the best method to see the dvd in a dvd player without losing clarity.that is ,how toburn an avi format to dvd which can play in a dvd player.i know it can be done with convertor but i lose clarity.so please advise the best method without losing clarity
