I have several avi files that I convert to mpeg2 using x video converter. The videos start out great and then little by little the audio gets off kilter with the video. EX, Howard stern's mouth was opening and the words were like 2 seconds to late.....ANy suggestions?

    Thanks

Try using WinAVI converter. It converts practically anything. I have personally used this for hundred of conversion and with no audio sync problems. Just be sure to go into settings and set your quality on high. Hope this helps!

If the movie plays fine on your avi file, then it's the transcoding process. Make sure you are not using the computer when it is converting. Shut down all your other apps that may be running that you do not need.
