right i'm trying to convert avi to mpeg1 (this also applies to mpeg2) so i can author with dvdlabpro. With TMPGenc it freezes after a couple of hours. WIth cucusoft avi to dvd ... it frezzes again after a few hours. Winavi converts sucessfully. However it gives me two seperate files. 00.MPG and 01.MPG. The film split in half - however when i open the second file in labpro it says there are header problems and the like. I think the files have been split and the video header has only been applied to the first part of the film. So i thought maybe joining the two parts with either vcdgear or easy video joiner. But they wouldnt let me - Any suggestions welcomed!
