I'm have tmpge player on my ipaq pda. I used to have a piece of software on my laptop for converting avi files to pda size avi's, but I've not used it for a year or so. Since then I've rebuilt the laptop and I can't remember what the software was.

All I can remember is it was freeware, when you open the software you selected the device type, and just queue up the files. Its was very intuative to use and very reliable.

    Any idea's what it is?

    Thanks in advance

Try this program, PocketDivXEncoder It can encode into a suitable size for your PDA and you can try a program called TCPMP for playing your videos.

yeah, pocketdivx encoder is the way to go. use the "pda" profile for 320x240 res. if you have a 640x480 res pda, you might want to use the "tungsten" res (i think its teh 4th or 5th one from the left).
