Hi I have searched the forums but to no avail, so I have to ask this.

I have some movies in Avi format they range from 550mb upto 750mb they are all about 130mins long. If I convert them to mpeg1/2 S/VCD so I can play them on my DVD player will they fit on one 800mb cd-r or will I have to split them. Im not sure on size increase from avi to mpeg1/2.

For VCD, it depends pn the cd-r, if its an 80min cd-r then u can get 80 min vcd!

SVCD is different, if CBR SVCD, then ud get about 35mins a disc, for VBR you could get a lot more but to stick with quality 60 minutes is the most!
