Hi, My name is egan and I've been trying to write a vcd for the first time ever using avi files. The problems I seem to experience is that when I convert them to MPG using NTI CD Maker 6 the file grows from say 712MB to 1.5GB. For this reason I cannot write the resulting file onto the disk. Am I doing it correctly? Is there any other software that will just take a AVI file and do everything that is required all-in-one? I have a copy of nero which I bought from their site although apparently now I need a plugin to convert AVI files? I've spent days researching how to do this and must be missing someting crucial - apparently it's not that difficult to do yet I've baffled? Any help would be so greatly appreciated. Thanks, Egan. P.s. what's (in a nutshell) the difference between a VCD and (s)vcd?_X_X_X_X_X_[small] -------------------- www.eganwelch.co.uk egan@eganwelch.co.uk[/small]
