avi without picture

    i have a movie avi file. was played with power dvd, the sound is nice, but the picture was not appear. anyone know why is it?
    this movie is x-rated movie. is it possible censored or parenthal lock? if yes, how to release?

    You might not have the correct video codec to view the video.

    You can download a program called GSpot (This is not a joke about the XXX movie)

    That is what the program is called.

    It will show you the codecs of the video and audio that are used in a Video File. You can then find the codec and install it.

    Yeah I was reading the problem and new they needed to find out what codec was used for the video then saw the XXX mention and thought. Wow this will be odd to explain. LOL
