I have 2 avi files in the same folder "Ace Ventura - Pet Detective (I & II)" I tried removing all of the symbols from the 2 avi files in this folder but I still can't get an audio stream with avi2dvd. Does this have anything to do with the avi files being in the folder that has symbols in the name? I tried renaming the folder but it says it is being used by another person or program and I can't rename it. Now I'm really lost -soup-
ok, so I restarted my computer and it shutdown whatever was using the folder and I could rename the folder. I ran avi2dvd again and an audio stream loaded but then I got this error message: " floating point division by zero " I found a thread that said to download xvid codec. I did that but still nothing. Then I downloaded divx codec and it seems fine now. -soup-
Glad it's ok now. If you need to know the codecs used by a video file, download 'GSpot' http://www.headbands.com/gspot/v26x/GSpot270a.zip As for Avi2dvd, it seems very fussy about the file names, folder names, etc. I generally put it in a folder in the root directory otherwise it gets confused.
