I'm trying to convert an old foreign film from AVI to DVD. I get bounced and the AVI2DVD log file tells me "[mpeg2video @ 6551400C]MPEG1/2 doesnt support 20/1 fps". How can I deal with this and get my film converted. Thanks.

Well it seems that the Frame Rate of your Source AVI file is Something like 20fps (Can you Confirm this??) which is a Frame rate that can not be used to make DVD"s, well at least with AVI2DVD....

I guess AVI2DVD doesn"t Convert Frame Rates which is pretty Common, and even the programs that can convert frame rates do not do it very well....

The only encoder I know of that works well for converting Frame rates is "Canopus Procoder" so if you can get ahold of it then it might do what you want...It can even convert your AVI to a "Video_TS" Folder that you just Burn to DVD.....

Well this is the Only advise I can give you with the Limited Info I have...

    Good Luck
