I did all the steps in the guide and Avi2Dvd part worked but then the Decrypter part did not go so well... I burned the .iso file onto a DVD-R
4.7 GB 8x 120 min. video and after the burn i tested the dvd and it had nothing exept 2 file which were like video and audio. nothing was in those files? The movie was called "MindHunters" [bold]If i can please get help on how to burn .iso onto a DVD-R and then be able to play it on a DVD player that would be great![/bold]

I used the guide too, but zi didn't even get that dar. After the encoding with avi2dvd, I was left with a file with Be sweet files, An audio file, a video file, an avisynth script and an audiostream. I went back and made sure that I had ticked off "create ISO" but alas...no ISO file was created (ANd it took all Night!) Anyone out there know what I can do to get this working?

I abandoned those programs and ended up having success with VSO DivxToDVD and CopyToDVD respectively. Once anyways..

Have you updated to the new version? It is a beta so it's bound to have problems, but it works perfectly for me. If you tried again look in your video folder, all your files ready to be burnt to DVD SHOULD be in there. It took a while, so it sounds like it encoded.

there was this black command screen that showed the time and i think it was like 5 min and 30 sec but then after that it showed another page which said encoding and it showed an error in the input statistics and in () it had the numbers counting down so it would close then at 1 it closed???

I too had problems with this software. You might try DVDSanta instead. Although it is not freeware it has worked great for me. It is much faster and produces very good quality dvd's. It only takes about 1 to 1 1/2 hours to convert a full length movie and it has it's own burning engine. It's very easy to use. Well worth the $30 in my opinion.
