   so i downloaded some .avi files, and they came with the subtitles file, only instead of .txt or .srt, there are 2 files, one is .sub and the other is .idx. how can i get that into a file that avi2dvd will recognize? thanks

   Part of VOBSub is 'SubResync' which can convert from .sub to .srt
