    Hi,
I'm having a problem converting an AVI file to SVCD, everything goes smooth up to the point where it opens bbMPEG and starts to multiplexing the file.
I get a message along the lines of..

    "cannot open/read the file G:\Blah\Blah\Encoded_audio_1.mp2"

The file is there and windows media player will play it fine, please help because i can't get any further than this.

    btw it worked before.

Could it be because im trying to encode the sound into 5.1?

Just forget it and get the two files, the encoded video file and the encoded audio file and multiplex them with TMPGEnc! Just click file - mpeg tools and click the multiplex tab! Dont forget to change type to super video-cd
