Avi's (xvid) won't convert to mpeg in TMPGenc

I have searched this entire forum and can't seem to come up with anything on this subject, so I thought I'd post.

I have south park season 10 downloaded, they are all 512*384 xvid mpeg4 video with mpeg layer 3 audio. I would like to convert them to mpeg2 so I can use them with my DVD authoring tool. (DVD-Lab Pro)

However, TMPGenc says the files are not supported. What am I doing wrong? Is there a certain encoder or such that must be downloaded for TMPGenc to accept these files?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
