I normally stray away from Windows Updates, but on a whim I clicked the Install button so a reminder would leave me alone. Since that time I do not seem to be capable of breaching 10kbits download speed using Azureus. I'm running Windows 2000 Pro, using a D-Link 524 (revision C router). I've previously had no problems with Azureus using standard settings and DHCP. Strangely, my upload/download speeds outside of Azureus seem unchanged (approx 1900kbits down / 254 kbits up on speed tests). I've tried forwarding ports, and have done so successfully with no change in outcome. The only other change I've made lately is purchasing a Western Digital external Harddrive. However, the drive required no software for installation & is functionally identical to a common usb pen drive. I'm out of ideas, and any help would be greatly appreciated.
Another interesting side note: When I use the NAT/Firewall test on any port other than the one I'm currently using I receive a response of "OK!" However, if I apply the changes to make the tested port the one used I get find no change in performance. If I then test the port I just changed to I receive a message indicating that there's a problem with the port.
