    is it possible to back up games on the xbox hdd, then ftp them to my computer hdd, and whenever i want to play a game just ftp it back to the xbox. i dont have money for a cd burner now and only the stock hdd on the xbox, so i was looking for a temporary fix.

    Yes, that is possible. Under the games folder on your xbox harddrive - just ftp over whatever game folder you want to back up to your computer hard drive. Then ftp it back to xbox if you want to play it again.

    Save for a DVD-R burner not cd. They can be found for as little as $50. I can FTP at speeds up to 1,500kbs and it takes between 5-10 mins. to transfer games. Save for the burner and play your backups off of DVD-R disks. You should also invest in another PC harddrive to store ISO game files and not always trust your backup only to disks.
