I am trying to make back-up discs of my season of The Office that I have on DVD. I am using DVDShrink and DVD Decrypter to make an ISO and then burn the DVD. I have tried both Sony DVD-R and Memorex DVD-R and neither have worked. They won't play in my DVD player or in my DVD drive in my computer. But I have made back-ups of my other movies using that same media and method and they have played fine in my DVD player. Does anyone know what could be causing these DVD's not to be backed up properly?
If those same disks worked perfectly fine before then I would think there is another issue here. What is the overall compression for these movies in Shrink? I am thinking you might just have to much compression to make these viewable. You might need to split these episodes up a little. I usually only put 3 episodes per DVD. Or you could use DVD Rebuilder, or get some dual layer disks.
