end program not responding, yet had no problem on my stand alone so next time illtry decrypter and shrink. but how do ichoose nero from shrink as it automatically chooses decrypter to burn

Try edit-> Preferences-> File I/O then check the box to enable burning with Nero.

doh was already enabled to use nero , ive just managed to back up a xmen cartoon dvd thought these had the potential to be problemmatic, but turned out ok ,also curious is how decrypter always chooses my external drive to decrypt to. as im fairly new to this hope others will be encouraged by my flounderings

Decrypter's default destination setting is the drive with the most room available.
    Try this:
Open Decrypter and select Tools-> Settings-> General tab. Set the Default Destination to Custom or Semi-Automatic and then browse for a location that has the space needed for the files.
