i am trying to back up my first xbox game using this tool and cdclone the error i get with Schtrom360Xtract when i try to extract is "only xbox backup extraction is supported on this drive!" i can't get past this?? what am i doing wrong...my drive is asony dvd rw dw-d26a jys3.........thanks for any help!!!!!
I am not familiar with your software. what i can do, is tell you how i backup games. you need to have evox, boxplorer, or xbmc installed(all freeware) put original game in xbox. use file browser to put game files on xbox hdd. (even if you have original hdd, you shud have enough space for 1 or 2 games) ftp those files to your pc(chunkhead has ftp setup tutorials). Use craxtion to "create iso" out of said game files. burn the iso with dvd decrypter. wha-bam... ready to roll. I admit... i am also a newb. I only post where have successfully dealt with the subject. I am only trying to help some of the very advanced people who help alot, with the easier questions
