anydvd to rip then edit with clonedvd - both are trialware dvdshrink - may also be able to rip & edit-permanently free pay no money download from software section dvdfab hd decrypter - free to rip always,the rest is trialware try latest of v8 before using v9 menushrink - always free & is used for reducing menu size,basically removes animation crap,drop video folder on to it & hit process,once you have used it test video in vlc to make sure you can navigate the dvd,if it doesn't just hit restore button when ripping check settings to get your desired output size,if your going to compress to dvd5,it would pay to edit out any crap & foreign languages as well as using menushrink,USE VERBATIM AZO dvd's you can then set output dvd size to 4485mb more info on ripping& backing up in guides section,the ripping programs also have guides at there respective websites or in menu bar
