ok I have this apparent backdoor blarul and some how it has assigned itself or cloned My overnet,eve file so that when I go to open up overnet exe ....My antivirus comes up n shuts it down .....I knock antivirus off then open overnet then turn the antivirus back on I can run overnet BUT is there away to un assign this lil critter of My pc I have searched google and 17 out the first 20 are in foreign languages ....not much help as I only speak basic german n french..... the infected file is apparently overnet exe file I have re installed overnet 3 or 4 times so that I can keep the stuff I was downloading because 3 very large files are almost finished .......I dont want to loose the files as 1 I have been downloading for nearly 5 weeks .... I run xp pro and norton virus n firewall peerguardian n spybot as ever any advice is more than welcome DaOsT
seems a few have been done by it on overnet overnite just reading computercops will keep ppl informed if I learn anything DaOsT
