    Hi,

I got an Executer 2.6CE Lite Chip, flashed and everything. I also followed the tutorial on Xbox-Scene on installing new hard drive but it didn't seem to work.

I backed up my C & E folder onto my computer hard drive, created an Evox Install HD CD. I installed the new Seagate 160gb hard drive setting the jumper to master. When I inserted the HD install CD, i selected the "install new hard drive" and chose "Yes." After that, I loaded up my FlashFXP, connected to my Xbox and then I started moving the backed up C & E folder from my computer onto the new hard drive. This is where I got the error message from FlashFXP "transfer failed." I tried this same method with both setting the jumpber cable to both "cable selected" and "master" none of them work.

Could someone shed some light for me please? I'm so so so close to getting this to work.

    theridges,

    Thanks for the reply.

    I followed this tutorial here:

I flashed it with exucuter 5035. I don't think my xbox has any dashboard on it, base on the tutorial, it said to create an HD install CD, and after that replace the hard drive. I did that. It's probably something simple that i missed.

However, I did noticed that instead of the message "formatting drive" It said something else relating to the bios. And when I hit Yes, it formatted almost instantly.

    I appreciate your help...

well you should be able to just copy the E drive to your new HD using any Dashboard...same with the C Drive...
