   I basically want to know what free programs is there for making and adding a menu to a dvd for putting 2 backed up dvd's on one dvd+r disk. Hope that made sense.

   For adding menus I'd recommend either TMPGEnc DVD Author or DVD Lab but they cost $$$. I'm not aware of any freeware apps for this although other here may.
   
   And for joining movies, DVD Shrink is a good freeware app for this. Here's a neat guide on how to do so:
