Hope someone can help me out. I have backed up several DVD using my HP+. I cannot seem to make a copy of any of my backed up DVD's. I read everything posted but most are on backing up - not +. I tried with Nero 6 as posted previously and cannot do it. What am I doing wrong? Please someone shed some light on this for me.
    Thank you

Frenchy1, If your copy plays ok and it has no problems, just use the copy complete disc part of any burning program. The process is the same with either -R or +R.
Insert your original copy, click start, insert blank when asked for. Shouldn't be a problem unless the copy can't be read for some strange reason.

Thank you Jerry. I have tried that using Nero 6 to copy the back up and the burn process fails everytime. What other program could I purchase to help me out.
I have DVD X Copy, DVD X Copy Express and DVD X Platnum but none will work.
    Thank you

Hi frenchy, X copy software will not copy its own copies again. But I have done several X copy backups by just using Nero disc copy to do the second copy without any problems. I am using DVD X COPY Express version 3.2.1 and Nero 6 Ultra. I use the Express part of nero also. Try Decrypter like Yuedana suggested and see if it goes through the process. Also where is the actual problem. Does it get through the read process and hangs up on burn or is the problem that it won't read the copy?

Thanks again Jerry. It reads and after starting the burn it tells me the process failed at xxx times. I have tried nero several times but always get coasters. Should i use the DVD Decrypter first. I also try nero burning on the fly and with on the fly checked off.
    Thanks

What brand of blank media are you using. It sounds like the problem is burn back only. Possibly buffer under run or your burner doesn't like the media. Try setting the burner at 1x and see if it works there. Also check the HP site for a firmware update on your burner. I had a HP 200i new out of the box and it needed the firmware update as soon as I installed it. I don't know which model you have or if its needed for sure. But check on it.
