    i burned a backup of one of my kids games from an image i made with alcohol 120%. The image worked properly when I mounted it, but when i burned it, it won't play in the burner i used to burn it with on my desktop, but it will play in the cdrom on my laptop. Can someone explain this for me. or tell me what i did wrong. The copy is useless to me since it won't play on the computer i burned it with.
    The game was DiabloII - Expansion with SecuROM *new* 4.85.07.0171

    Thank You-

    Many people are struggling to make backups of SecuROM 4.85 m8. I'm not a Alcohol 120% user (nope, nada) but I do have the settings that some have used with success:
    Read setting:
    Use the SecuROM New> 4.7.00.0029 datatype profile and be sure that you're using the latest Alcohol 120% release.

    ======================================================
    Max read settings: 24x
    Skip read errors
    Read sub channel from current disc
    Data Position Measurement (High)
    ======================================================
    Write setting:
    Max write speed:RAO DAO 8x
    Burn "RMPS" to recordable media

    ======================================================
    When all finished minimize Alcohol 120% and enable RMPS emulation play your backup m8. The latest BlindWrite 5 build can't backup SecuROM 4.85 for now. I was successful backing up SecuROM 4.85(Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne) using BlindWrite Suite 4.25& CloneCD\TwinPeak Tool but if you're not an advanced user then I encourage anyone to use Alcohol 120% for SecuROM 4.85 backups. I hope you're successful m8.

    Or even BW5.... A120 has some difficultiy doing the measurements sometimes. BW5 is superior for SecureROM backups IMHO
