Can someone give me instructions on how to back-up my retail movies with an ILO DVDRHD04 with hack update installed? or can it even be done? Thanks in advance,
the only way i've been able to do this is by hooking up another dvd player to the rear input, and then hitting "play" to play the movie. I then hit "record" on the Ilo to record to the hard drive.. I don't think there is a way to copy a dvd movie to the hard drive without actually watching/recording it through the inputs. (in other words you can't put it in the drive and just hit "copy to hdd") The only way that you can do this I believe is if the dvd is burned in the same format as the Ilo burns.
