I have been having trouble lately with several of my backup dvds playing back properly. I have a cheapo Diamond DVD player from Walmart that usually plays everything, but there is two of my backups that I had to put into my Xbox to get the audio to work proerly. I thought the dvd player was at fault but when I put other backups in they played fine.

I use Nero Ultra 6.6 (latest updates), an LG GSA H22N Super Multi burner, Verbatim 16x media (used both +R and -R...same trouble)

I also tried using ImgBurn but results for these particular movies were the same.

Just wondering if anybody has had this kinda trouble (low or no audio, skipping or freezing) on some image burns, while others are fine.

Would mounting the image with Daemon and using DVD2One to redo the Video-ts files etc help?

Do the burned disks play ok on the PC?

Are the files which were used to burn the disks still available in a folder for playback with the PC's media player?
    Are they ok?

Were the disks burned at the preferred 4x instead of the rated 16X?

Yes, the discs and the actual image on the HDD plays great. The DVD also plays on my Xbox console with no probs.

Altho, the discs are 16x, I usually burn at 12x and have no troubles...4x is the best bet? (ahhhh, so slow :))
