I currently have a copy of InstantCopy. This works great to back up my DVD's. However, I want a piece of software in which I can backup just my regular files (i.e. financial records, school files, etc). I used to use CDR-Win when I would do this with CD's, but what is the best software to do the equivalent with DVD's?

I don't think that InstantCopy will, but I may be wrong.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Have you tried just drag n dropping said data files then burning yet. If so would the disc not open when asked to explore..etc ?

If you just drag n drop w/ Nero it goes to disc , instead of just some shortcut.

Did you try adding all files to a folder and burning that folder ?
Or WinZip the files and burn ??

Instead of drag and drop.....use copy and paste and see what happens.
