   I am constantly getting dirty disc errors on my xbox. These are games that use to play. Is it possible that the dvd drive has gone bad? Is there anything special that needs to be done other than put a new one in? I have a modded xbox.

   Yeah, one thing you can do before replacing it. Clean the laser inside the dvd drive.
