I have a video that was downloaded as two files: part one and part two. They play fine. When I merge them, the sound becomes intermittent. Several large blocks of sound are missing from the merged file. If I merge again, the spots where is sound is missing are in different locations. I have used 3 different megre apps, all with the same results. What cound be wrong? MPG file. tx, Paul
Have you heard of a product called tmpg ? Rerender the files using TMPG first then try to join them Hope that helps Phil
I looked in the menus for "Rerender" and could not find this function. What / where is it? Thanks, Paul
Hi My fault - how does render again sound Search Google Render Video http://www.3dgate.com/techniques/2001/010103/0103rendering.html TMPGenc basically renders video from one format to another - or puts the video through a process - e.g. you want to remove the noise bars from the bottom of the video, so it allows you to re-render the video and snip the bottom of the film off for example. Regards
They have a trial copy of TMPG on this site at http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/tmpgenc.cfm If you haven't used it, it is worth having a play as it is excellent - if you are in to that sort of stuff. I make home movies - !!! - just skiing holidays and this is the software I use to create mpg1 vor video CDs Regards
yes I am trying TMPG. I see no "render" function. I am not into this stull a lot. I just wanted to put this d--- film back together.
