hi all, first post and dont no a lot about computers.
recently after doing a windows update i could,nt got web page up.
i use zone alarm /avg/ ad aware and spybot.
been told if i remove zone alarm in and use summit different it would work but i like zone alarm looks after itself.
i use comodo now but dont like.
was going to reinstall zone alarm in hope it was fixed and on a download site it said there had been a bad windows download effecting many peoples computers. it also said about applying patch or summit on windows update but did,nt understand, is there any easy way to get my computer running back again with zone alarm easily.
    thanks john

    Hi John,
There are a couple of possible things to try here. You could do a System Restore although that may not change anything in this situation. Then again I have to wonder if all this happened after an update, perhaps removing the update (if it's not an important one) could help. Also what OS (XP, Vista, etc.) are you running? And are you using IE7? I think with a little more info we could maybe narrow it down a bit.

Call Microsoft and tell them what happened and tell them it happened because of an update. They should help you.
