ballsed up my dvd! hehe :P

hey all,
was doing another philips laser tweak on my drive last nite, and ive f***ed it up
but im not all that annoyed, im getting the power splitter for it soon and sticking my dvd drive from my pc in as a temp, then going to buy a new xbox from argos or sumwhere like that, swapping them and taking them back
just wondering tho, y will it not work just swapping the drives over, like the xbox one out and my dvd in? :S
