battlefield 2142 lag help

i just got 2142 the other day and i kept on getting kicked from servers due to errors. so after a little while i ironed out the bugs of that problem and for a while (stayed up till 4 in the morning playing without probs) it was good. but then come morning after i restart the cpu i get increadible amounts of lag on a lower graphic/resolution quality than on when i was playing without probs, this goes to the point where i cant react fast enough to not get killed.

can anyone help me.

i've got 2.3ghz dual core, 2gb of ddr2, nvidia 7300 and dsl AND have reinstalled everything and running as admin but to no avail
