I bought the CD-ROM version of Battlefront II last night at Media Play. The game installed fine, but when I try to launch it I get an error saying "A required security module can not be activated. This program can not be executed." I searched on the Lucas Arts site and Google, and it seems that this forum is the only place I've seen this error mentioned. The problem is that I actually have the original CD in the installation drive and I am still getting this error. I have Alcohol installed on my PC, but I currently do not have any virtual drives mounted. That shouldn't make a difference, should it? Does anyone know of a way that I can get this to work? Their frickin' tech support isn't open on the weekend otherwise I would call Lucasarts.
Found a work-around here: http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=154860 You have set the icon to run in Windows 2000 compatability mode and it works fine. WTF?
