I'm using the afterdawn guide for copying DVD to VCD for the first time. Everything seems to go fine until near the end of the process and I get a bbMPEG error message that says "Error Reading From Input File". I assume that the encoding is not completed at this point because I don't see anything that looks like a completed MPEG. I have tried 2 different DVD's and received the same error message. Can anybody help me out here, I have no clue what to do?
Hello one5one, Here I have the exact same symptom as you. What I solved this issue is to close Dvd2svcd. Then I open up Tmpenc again and use the .mpv file as the source video file, .mp2 as the source audio file to encode to a NEW mpg file. It worked but I think its a waste of time to use Tmpgenc AGAIN to encode a new mpg file. If you have a better soultion, please let me know. Thanks BoscoBosco
