I dont know if this is the right forum for this but please help me.I want to start programming and it seems that C and C++ are the way to go but my question is which one do i try to learn i looked at a couple of C++ ebooks but for a 14 yr old that looks hard. i looked at C and its easier i think and i have the vtc videos and the dude looks like he know what he taking bout but i want to mainly develop football games (soccer) and i heard c++ got that oop crap i heard people taking bout so you guys tell me which one to learn and also tell me wheter fifa or pro evolution soccer sensible was written i C or C++.I want to start mainly console programming cause i have xbox sdk. Thanks.
Ummm you have to start with Visual Basic than work your way up to C++......Trust me you have ALOT to learn

Thanks for the replys but i already know how they make games i want to know what language wheter C or C++. I heard C is easier and i have more learning resources for C but i would only make football games so i'm basically asking what type of games can u do on C or what are the limitations of C as to say in game development.besides that ps2-linux crap is expensive and i have the xbox sdk to work with already and also vs.net.
