hi ive just modded my v1.4 xbox with the xecuter 3 and x3 proswitch with xlcd screen, now i need a bios?? has anyone got any ideas on which one to use? and what banks to set the chip to ,to flash it?? im a bit of a newb to the x3 cheers kev
Im glad you chose the X3 Chip!!!! First you can go to their webiste but beware if your xbox is a v1.6 only get the bios that are for tha. Because if you get something different and flash it with those. You can just throw away your xbox. Oh the easiest way to flash is buring the bios to a CD+/-RW or a DVD+/-R or RW. Pop the disc in after that and it should start. By the way the LCD doesnt need its own bios. It can be programmed in the Main Screen of the X3 bios to say whatever you want. I made mine say Stupid Noobs Haxed My XBOX!
