    Hello all :)

I was just wondering if there was a better capture software (preferably free one) than this pixela imagemixer, as i find it very...outdated and sometimes it hiccups on vista (haven't tried on xp or any other OS).

I've been trying to search here in the forums and couldn't find a clue ! Any recommendations would be really appreciated :)

I've used Canopus Edius for capture and editing. That was years ago, I just liked it because it was very easy to use once you got the hang of it. I'm sure they've updated newer ones by now, but they're not free.

There's also Corel VideoStudio Pro X2, it's a bit cheaper.

There are 30-day trials for both Canopus' Edius and Corel's VideoStudio Pro X2. Go over to the homepages for Canopus and Corel, try them out and see which one you like best. It’s sometimes about your preference.

I don't know what software is the best for capturing, but obviously the best is gonna co$t you.
    Good luck.
