Best Card to make a PVR for Satilite TV from My PC

    Hi,
    I'm new to this. What's the best card to make a PVR for Satilite TV from My PC. Since I'll be using the digital output from my Satilite receiver do I need a TV tuner card? Is that the only way I'll get a card that functions as a good PVR? What are my options? I'll be outputing to an HT projector.

    Yes you will need a tv tuner card. The hauppauge pvr150 is a good card. It comes with a remote and an IR Blaster which you'll use to control the sat box. For output to an HD projector you'll need a decent video card as well. The best would be the nvidia 6800 ultra, but the 6600gt will work great too.
