A simple question: Which application provides the better quality video after compression, DVD Shrink or CloneDVD?

I've tried using DVD Rebuilder, but it stops with an error message midway through the VIDEO_TS stage, even though the original VIDEO_TS files, which it is processing, playback just fine.

I have used both and in most respects see the same quality. BUT while recently backing up the first season of Lois and Clark DVD Shrink had alot poorer quality than DVDClone2. Two discs were so bad I now have them as coasters and redid the disc with DVDClone2. I think on average DVDclone2 will be better but this is the first time I saw Shrink have bad quality. And it isnt the media as it is Sony media coded out to TY so I know it had to be Shrink.

I used Shrink for quite a while and did some tests with different software. Here's what I found about Shrink vs. CloneDVD 2. If you use quality enhancements in Shrink, quality is about the same. Quality enhancements I did for test were deep analysis and error compensation set to sharp (after you click Backup click the quality enhancements tab to find these options). Without quality enhancements CloneDVD was better. Either way CloneDVD was much quicker though.
