Ok so the time has come again, I want to reload my modded xbox and update everything again but my question is....What is the best Dashboard at the moment? I have used the Evo-X dash for years now but i see that there are more out there now. Cheers
Avalaunch and Unleash X are pretty cool. I used Avalaunch for quite a while but I think I like Unleash X better now.The animated skins are pretty cool. I'm using XBMC as the dash on my main chipped xbox and I have to say that I like it the best.
I'm an EvoX and Avalaunch fan, but I have recently started getting into XBMC and that is pretty interesting.
Im tempted by UnleashX, but have to admit that I have not heard a great deal about XBMC front end, where can I get more info on it?
Can anyone help me I softmodded my x-box. It worked for a couple of days. Now i try to turn on my x-box and it says i need to contact costemer support and my LED flashes red and green.
It's always hard to tell what is wrong w/ an Xbox when there is no error number on screen. I'm not a softmodding guru, as I have never actually done it before, but if your friends Xbox can read backup media, try to pop in slayers and boot that up and reload the dashboard on the Xbox. If his Xbox cannot read backup media, then your last option really is to get a modchip, so you will then be able to get into the HD and load on a fresh new copy of the original dashboard, and things of that nature.

Well, I would suggest soldering your chip in, but if you have no soldering skills what-so-ever, then you could get a solderless chip. Like I tell everybody, go w/ the Xecuter 3ce w/ solderless adapter. The only problem is it costs around $70. You could check out the Xenium Ice's as they cost around $50-$60. Here is a guide on using #xbins, http://teammodders.com/viewtopic.php?t=96 Once you get the torrent file downloaded, you need to burn the XISO, and do so onto a quality dvd-R. Pop Slayers in your softmodded Xbox and hopefully it will be up.?. If it does, you will see a bunch of options you can do, and one is to reload the original dashboard files on.
