I would like to know in people's opinion what is the best dvd editing software out there. I know that there are some big brand names out there like Nero, Roxio, Sonic and Adobe. I am looking for ease and speed of use, and a program that has an extensive selection of animated menu background templates w/music. Another feature that I have not been able to encounter is the ability to use just text as a menu button without any picture or button or anything just like they do on professional dvd menus sometimes. Thanks.

I think you owe it to yourself to visit Mediachance website and check out their softwares. They have some great stuff, and priced right. They have editors and DVD authorig software.

Okay I checked it out, DVD LAB Pro & Studio, looks pretty cool. Will these programs be able to do the things that I mentioned above? Are they able to perform video captures as well?
